Steps to Use Claude with the Google Workspace Executable:

1. Install Claude Desktop:

   Download from https://claude.ai/download

2. Download the Executable:

   • macOS:

   • Windows:

3. Run the Executable:

   1. For macOS users —

      • Run the below command in the terminal (inside the folder)

        chmod +x ./google-workspace
        ./google-workspace
        

   2. For Windows users —

      • Double-click the file, or
      • Run via terminal: .\\google-workspace.exe

4. (Optional) Stop the Server:

   You can stop the server if needed.

   Note: This is optional because launching Claude will automatically stop the currently running instance/PORT.

5. Launch Claude Desktop

6. Start Asking Tasks:

   Claude will now recognise the available tools (with descriptions).

   Refer to the attached screenshot for the available tool list.

   

Important Notes:

• Do not delete the executable
• If you rename, move, or modify the executable, you must rerun it (Step 3) to ensure it works properly

Sample Prompts:

1. Analyse the “Customer_Feedback” spreadsheet, create a new sheet tab titled “Customer Feedback Analysis”, and add relevant charts
2. In the Google Doc named “Fruits”, replace all occurrences of “Apple” with “🍎”
